The Ultimate Minecraft Survival Objective List

The Ultimate Minecraft Survival Objective List

For update 1.7.2 and above.

Playing Minecraft in creative mode can get boring.  Survival mode is where the real fun is.  Actually collecting the resources and struggling to protect your stuff and survive makes the game much more fulfilling.

Sometimes when playing survival mode solo, you can get bored also, so I created this guide for you to use to ensure you always have something fun to do while in survival.  Remember doing hard work is much more rewarding than just getting everything you want now.  This guide can also be used as a nice helpful walkthrough for beginning players.

The ultimate way to have to most possible fun is to play survival with friends on a hamachi server with Skype.

Keep in mind I will also update this post as new things come available, so check back when new updates become available for the game.

Starting Off Tips
The first thing I always do when I first start a survival world is grab a couple blocks of wood to make a crafting table a wooden pickaxe and some sticks.  Next use your hand to dig a few blocks down to cobblestone and then collect enough cobblestone to make a complete set of stone tools and a furnace.

Next you want to immediately look around for possible easy food sources such as, animals, mushroom soup, etc.  If not then collect some seeds from grass and start a wheat farm ASAP.

Another really good thing to do is scan the immediate area for a village.  I highly recommend you live in or near a village because breeding villagers and upgrading the village can be a lot of fun.  You can also have fun by making the game more challenging too by staying in the wilderness.  So whatever you prefer.

If you are an experienced player than you probably already are used to the things mentioned above so just move onto the list to ensure you don't get bored.  Feel free to suggest in the comments section your own ideas for minecraft survival fun.
